research into employment experiences of Muslim women in NSW
The
report’s aim is to establish Muslim women’s work experiences
and perceptions of work in non-Muslim workplaces.
Our
objectives in carrying out the study are as follows:
1.
To establish the main type of workplaces for Muslim women
2.
To determine whether the qualifications of Muslim women reflect
their current position of employment.
3.
To determine employment satisfaction and possible barriers to
employment of:
(a)
Women currently in paid employment
(b)
Women currently unemployed and seeking paid employment
The
Association is seeking Muslim women in either paid employment
or, those seeking paid employment to participate in this research.
